Writing Strategies
2.6 Write technical documents: a. Identify the sequence of activities needed to design a system, operate a tool, or explain the bylaws of an organization. b. Include all the factors and variables that need to be considered.
c. Use formatting techniques (e.g., headings, differing fonts) to aid comprehension.

1.4 Edit written manuscripts to ensure that correct grammar is used. Punctuation and Capitalization

Language Arts 8:45- 9:45 am Literature Book (LB), Selection Support Workbook (SS) Reader’s Companion (RC) | Objective: Students will use an Internet Map to write a partner directions to their specific destination. LB pg. 550- 553 #’s 1-6 | Objective: Students will read and be able to identify the cause and effect in the essay “Why is the Sky Blue?” LB pg. 682- 685 #s 1-10 | Holiday- No School | Objective: Students will be able to identify the comparison and contrasts in an essay LB 898- 901 #s 1-8 | Objective: Students will be able to identify what by-laws are and explain why they are important. LB. pg. 928- 931 #’s 1-7 |
